Getting onboard the 21st century learning classroom

Hi, Sharon!

I am Deb Morton. I work as a teacher/librarian at Pagosa Springs High School. We are a small school in a beautiful mountain town in Colorado.

Presently, I am taking an online class thru PBS TeacherLine called, "Communicate & Collaborate Online". I'm learning a lot about Web 2.0 I did not know before.

I agree with you....we need to make the leap and become a paperless education system. The amount of paper wasted on a daily basis is HUGE! It makes me sick. I hope I can learn wha… Continue

Cultural Aspects Collaboration

Hello Flat Classrooms Participants,
We are looking to make connections with other PYP schools in other countries who would be willing to video students talking about different aspects of their lives, such as sports, food, holidays, clothes, etc. We could upload all of our cultural aspects on either blogspot or wikispaces to share with the other PYP schools. We would like to start beginning in December. We would love for your school to participate. Let us know if you are interested.

I am moving to a paperless classroom, using notebooks, using smartboards and many other pieces of technology and feel the rest of the st… Continue

2010 Olympic Project

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for classes to participate in an Olympic Project for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. I have a grade 5&6 class that will be working on the project but I anticipate that many different grades will be able to work on the activities either as individuals or as a class group.
