Matthew, our second graders do a unit on the Arctic each year and I would love to have one or two classes connect with your students. We will be doing class blogs and wikis so the interaction could be online through those types of tools. Our purpose in the unit is to look at the effects of climate on animal life, resources and the overall history of people who have lived in the Arctic regions. If you get some ideas pulled together I will be back at school in mid-August as students start at the end of August.

Well we are waiting for school to start and not waiting.

For the beginning of the project. More stuff will be posted this weekend on the site.

We will have those post and projects/topics up until school starts and classes get involved. So basically all that is added until next week will stand until schools start. These will be the first kind of get to know you activities.
