I am a teacher and eLearning manager at a small rural P-12 College in north west Victoria, Australia. A mother of two grown children, daughter, also a teacher has recently married; son works as a linesman with power company. Husband is principal at my school. I have lived in the country for most of my life and enjoy the lifestyle. Although I do love the contact and stimulation that technology can allow no matter where you live.
I have followed with interest the Flatclassroom project and the Horizon Project. I have volunteered to be a judge in the Horizon Project to further my understanding of the potential of such activities. My students have participated in a number of online projects and I hope to expand on the potential of this over the coming months and years.
