About Me:
I teach at Milton High School in Milton, Vermont. It is a public school that includes grades 7-12. Most of my teaching responsibility is in 10th grade. I usually teach World History (1600-present) but this year I will be teaching Language Arts as I have dual certification and will be replacing a teacher who is on a years leave of absence. At my school 9th and 10th grade students are assigned to core teasm so I will be working closely with a hisotry, match and science teacher.

Interest in Flat Classrooms
I am interested in connecting my students with other students to provide a more diverse learning opportunity. We are a small, rural community but our school has excellent technology resources. I am a strong believer that students expect to use technology and are already blogging, part of a social network etc. Flat classrooms would provide a great opportunity to use web 2.0 tools to deepen learning and understanding.

I guess the pertinent thing is to discuss at the beginning of the year. If the enthusiasm exists there must be possibilities.
