Same here! I hope to gain some new perspectives on China from you and your students!

12pm is 2pm for us and that's the time our last session of the day (2-2:50) starts, so perfect! 

We've only just started the 5th week of our school year, so mine haven't had much experience skyping either. They'll learn together!

We have assembly Monday afternoons and a small group has a skype play with a class tomorrow afternoon but otherwise any Tuesday -Friday afternoon suits.

The Gems and I would love to connect with you and the Tigers! My class is engaging in an inquiry into 'who are we?' and looking at family and celebrations is part of that. Is skype blocked for you? There's only a 2 hr time difference between us so it would be easy to connect in real time. I've been looking at your school website. Wow! What a beautiful environment!

Hi!  I've started a Voicethread presentation on the letter K!  Let me know what you think.  I don't know if the students will know what kale or kayak is...maybe others...let me know.  If you have any other words (I just saw "kick" in your message), I'll add them, too!

I'll start working on a slide show.  I'll send the link once I get started.  I have Preschool (3-4yrs) on Mondays so if I can get something going today, I will.  

Thanks for getting back to me. We wouldn't be able to connect in real-time, but maybe we can connect through projects, like Voicethread.  I'm thinking about making a slide show - maybe for numbers?  The kids can say the number and we can listen to both languages?  I'm just thinking out loud...but if you're interested, let me know!
