Well, I suppose nothing else is important in life any more since you brought the EXPERT to my wall!  I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning.

The funny thing is, I kind of had a whole different take on the comment David brought up (after thinking about it for a month now).  I feel like most kids would burn down everything to feel the heat because it is the nature of a kid- to try everything out for themselves.  If, however, we take a true interest in our children and truly include them as part of our tribe as opposed to the idea most tribes have of children- to be seen and not heard- we have the chance of saving our tribes from a major fire or destruction.  I think that we must allow kids to learn by trying but with the safety of our support and the knowledge that they have a whole community willing to support them.  Without this support and community feeling, they are sure to want to burn everything down just to feel what the heat feels like.

Hello Julie
My photograph that I have uploaded is taken at our annual prize distribution ceremony.
This event is organized at the end of the academic session after the final term result is announced. We give prizes to the students in each section who have achieved highest marks in each of the 6 subjects we teach.
Parents are also invited in this function. Students anchor this ceremony and students securing highest overall marks in each grade deliver a speech and are awarded a proficiency shield. Names of these students are displayed on an " Honour Roll".
Head of the branch deliver the welcome speech. I am the school coordinator at the end i delivered the thanking note.

I am in touch with Janet a recently added member. Hoping to carry out a collaborative social studies project with her. Thank you for providing this possible opportunity.

I want to share with you that the real time web presentation of my Class VII Geography students is celebrated globally. The event is reported in the newsletter
Metropolitan State University, Minneapolis USA
College of Arts and Sciences News letter April 2010 issue
