Hi Leslee,
I teach 5th grade in North Carolina and am planning to collaborate in some way with Nerine's students when they start school.
In the meantime, I have joined Matthew Stark's Global Collaboration project and would love to have you join if...
Hi Nerine!
Thanks for your reply. I would be very willing to wait until you can set something up for a little later in the school year. Please just keep me posted!
Thanks, Mary
Mary,
Have you heard anything, or gotten started anywhere -- either on Matthew's project or Nerine's? I'm sure everyone is busy getting school started...
Mary,
I did join Matthew Stark's project, but are we all waiting now for the beginning of school? I was also interested in Jackie's comment to you. It sounds as if we could still participate on Wee Web Wonders, or do you think it just means we could add our work to it?
Mary,
Have you had any luck figuring out how to get started, or better still what flat classroom project might be a possibility? It is my understanding that Jackie is no longer working with students, but has moved into higher ed. Don't think her project on Primary Education is a possibility?
There seems to be a number of people interested, but not sure how to start.
Hi, Mary - Here is the link for Creative Web Tools http://weewebwonders.pbworks.com/ If you decide to have your class join, I can give you administrator status to add your students. I have an information for teachers link there for more information.
Hi, Mary - I moved into Higher Education/Teacher Ed. this year, BUT Creative Web Tools is still active - receiving 50 to 100 visitors a day. I would love for your class to continue the process . . . and maybe we could find more classes to join.

Anything that would help my students see the world from a "flatter" perspective. I am new to this and and excited about the prospect, but don't know how to go about it. My students collaborated with a class in Belize last year via ePals.com. As a culminating activity, the students built a webpage together. I was a great experience for all involved!
Hello Julie,
I am excited that you are interested in doing this. So far we have interested schools in Portugal, India, Oman, and Alaska USA. I will be meeting with the Year 4 team next week to get this started. The wiki is already set up. I will e...
