Reviewing Ewan McIntosh’s Seven Spaces of Learning, what types of spaces are underrepresented in the schools you work with? McIntosh's Seven Spaces of Learning are Secret, Group, Publishing, Performing, Participation, Data, and Watching. The school I work at does not have a Secret Space because most teachers do not allow the use of technology in their classes. Secret Spaces includes but is not limited to texting, chatting and emailing. Group Spaces such as Facebook are used by…

Hi Toni,
I'm looking a little at the template right now, but I have a lot of time Wednesday and hope to get most of it finished then. Our school was thinking about having the entire school read the same book and have discussions within the building. I was thinking that we coupld use the same concept but have discussions between school/counties as well. If we did that, it may make more sense to all read the same book. We could do a new book each month and continue the process and the connection, or we can do one big project with several books and groups. There is something to be said about keeping an ongoing connection throughout the year, but I am also open to the othre way. What feelings do you have about it?
