Vinnie, that is a great idea and execution - thanks for sharing. Another teacher and I used voicethread during March - Women's History Month - to have the student present a story of a choice a woman she knew that changed her own personal history. It was great and moving, but we kept them private, so I can't share. I have a problem with ed.voicethread account though - as students added their story it took a long time for my account to load!!
Dis anyone else encounter that slowness?

Did you know that you can embed these in the post by copying the embed code? I hope you'll go back and use the embed code to do this. It is a very valuable tool. Let me know if you need some help.

Another VoiceThread project which I am very proud of is one our Junior put together http://voicethread.com/share/139400/. This project had students pick and demonstrate the 13 days that changed American History. Good Stuff

Thanks for the feedback. When I get back to IL,. I'll pass this on to the creators. Glad you found it as inspiring as I did!

That is fantastic Jim. I am going to attempt to use voice thread in the K-2 section of the school next term as I have just discovered it is NOT blocked by our DET system. I enjoy watching other teacher's examples of how they used voice thread. I watched a really cute example on little one's dinosaur picture. I love the ability for others to comment on the student's work thanks for sharing

Jim: What a wonderful use of voice thread. I especially like how each student had drawn their own pictures to represent themselves. I am considering using this tool in my high school classes but am unsure the best way to approach it. I have been watching examples to generate ideas. Thank you!

Hi Purti, That sounds great! I know the festival of "Makar Sankranti" is coming soon and we are very excited to learn about it. Will it be possible for you to take pictures or videos of the kites flying, and also some pictures of your students with…

I guess the pertinent thing is to discuss at the beginning of the year. If the enthusiasm exists there must be possibilities.
