Transforming learning through global collaboration

Collaborate and Communicate - Wiki Project - Tablets in Education

Working on the wiki with Tasha was great fun.  We quickly communicated via the wiki discussion and comment tools and began our research.

From their the video creation was relatively simple as long as it involved an aspect of innovation, invention or prediction.  I've always loved the Rip Van Winkle metaphor to education and thought it was appropriate given the transformation that technology can bring when integrated well.

Helen,
Tablets have been a smashing success in the middle school and elementary. In the high school, a little slower to adopt but we will get there.

I enjoyed your video Lisette. We are considering tablets instead of netbooks for our 1-1 middle school program.  I found your video informative and am curious as about the introduction of tablets in your own school.
